The Quran is Allah’s Holy Book that He revealed to Prophet Muhammad (S) through Angel Jibril. It contains all the things that a Muslim needs. Allah tells us how we should worship Him, and He gives commands that we must obey. There is no room for a good Muslim to neglect the Quran.

Memorizing some parts of the Quran is compulsory for Muslims. Without certain portions of the Quran, a Muslim’s salah or namaz is incomplete. Therefore, Quran memorization is something in which all Muslims must engage.

First of all, write down the ayah (verse) you would like to memorize in a notebook and the translation of that ayah. Secondly, Recite the ayah 6 times, while looking at the Quran. Thirdly, Recite the ayah 5 times from memory. Fourthly, move on to the next ayah and follow the same steps outlined above.
